Maternity Shoot at the Wine Castle ?!
It might sound weird to you that I was that kinda girl who wanted a Maternity Shoot more than a wedding shoot ! Shocking in the glam world, but true story! So being so stubborn myself, I wanted the maternity shoot with pooch evidently big and you know .. almost nearing the pregnancy! So I thought why not after the 8th month?
Ah I know, should’ve gone a day before but.. moving on.. We did it! But the problem being it had already started with the winter in the Northern California early in the October and the fact that it was becoming more and more uncomfortable for me to travel long distances made me wanna surf places near by – which was elegant enough but also comfortable! After a loooong search…. Napa Valley it is!!!
Majestically Weird might be the exact feeling I had when I got down to Napa Valley with my “soo pregnant” belly.. You know the “Why is she here? She can’t drink, can she? She is soo pregnant for this! ” looks!
Yeah Yeah, I didn’t taste the wine .. give me a break! But oh my, was it beautiful!
It did bother me and I was shy, but then , I had my husband with me who looked so lovingly into my eyes and told me – Let’s do this…. There.. all my worries melted away
It was like God wanted me to do this there on that day, because it was bright and sunny and yet an occasional cool breeze!
It was perfect but with the occasional cravings for the wine that almost goes into your nose pretty much where ever you pose! We chose the grand Castello De Amorosa to be the venue and My Oh My, It was wonderful! Had a bit of autumn colors! Oh and yeah there is a special non alcoholic grape juice for kids and preggos! So, there you go! Proof that pregnant women go there! They do! I can still hear the Judgement LOL.
But who cares guys! I got my beautiful moments in the captured! That’s what matters the most to me. So if you are scared that someone might judge you based on what you decide on your shoot, ask them to go to hell and get your memories made! Y’all, your babies are gonna ask you how it was when you were carrying them around in your tummy and when they do, just give them those magical moments for stories ‘cuz they will look forward to it! It’s gonna be a thing, I’m telling Ya!
Thanks to a friend of mine who clicks the best pictures ever- Mr.Tiju Jose and the Wife – Rinu who is always so lovely! Love from Emma ! We all had fun! It was the perfect weekend!
