For The Diva In You : Safe, Elegant & Economical Must Haves – Part 1
I hear Ya Girl! You work hard and you work late.. Or you just simply watch Netflix and eat pop corn! For me personally – I am in that Netflix category and also, Motherhood is overwhelming. You want everything to be perfect for your little one.. And that includes sacrifices! The problem comes when you stop pampering yourself! Just because you are a mom or you are on your own – away from home and ‘cuz you are supposed to take care from now on, doesn’t mean you stop looking pretty and eating less and going crazy ! That adds onto Depression. I was paranoid. Okay I am still paranoid that I have a baby and i have to be careful in the silliest of things. But, the way I feel when I am put together and presentable, beats all my OCD and tiredness and worries. I feel confident when I look good, no joke!
There are a million things that go through, in your mind every single day. It won’t hurt anyone to look good. But if it’s a struggle looking good, it’s a completely different thing. I wanted to help you with what I can, to let you off of a little steam.. Ain’t nobody got money blossoming on their front yard too!
So here are a few of the tips that might help you look the diva you are inside and out, in the safest and the most economical way…

Tip #1: Why spend on many???
The Body Shop has always been one of my favorite brands in makeup. It is cruelty free and it has the least amount of toxins and always, the texture and the pigmentation are G.R.E.A.T!
The lip and cheek stain that they have is an excellent replacement for your Blush, LipStick and Eyeshadow(I know right! ). You don’t need a 100 brushes and neither do you have to be a makeup pro!
This gives you the best natural looking healthy color glow! You don’t have to worry about accidentally touching it and ruining the look and neither does it get inside you by breathing or licking.. ‘cuz let’s face it, there is no powder here! Plus, it stays on for at least 12 hrs on your skin.. Go get that glow, gorgeous!
**I used my tinted moisturizer, eyeliner, lip balm and just this stain on me, for my Maternity Shoot!**

Tip #2: It’s a ‘No stretch-mark’ zone!
This is the one thing I couldn’t live without when I was pregnant! This oil has essential fatty acids which help regenerate skin cells including vitamin A. It helps in removing the discolored tissues or patches and growing new ones in place.
It prevents Stretch marks and also it’s completely safe to use while pregnant(and after that)! It gives out an instant glow. You needn’t be pregnant to use it for all the patches and other uneven areas of your skin. Sometimes, it can be used in place of a face primer, in case you have dry to normal skin and are going for that dewy look You can buy any organic 100% pure cold-pressed Rosehip oil. Easy and cheaper options are available in Amazon other than this one that I have been using.

Tip #3: Shades – a must??
Motherhood is tough and the primary and compulsory side effect is gonna be puffy eyes and(or) dark circles! Even if you had a late night or troubled sleep, that is the same case. Now, you might not always get time to put on a concealer every time you get out of your house! So I recommend investing in a pretty and chic sunglass.. This will up your game with which ever clothes you put on, without the time to be spent on make up!
I guarantee, there are shades that are pretty decent rated and does hold on to you for a good long time – Here is one of my Amazon finds for you!
Also, shades will never go out of style and if it is Rose Gold, girl are you on Red Carpet *wink wink*

Tip #4: Stop going Bald, I’m serious!
You have to condition your hair with the right oils! You must religiously condition your hair with oil 10min before shower twice a week for healthy results. Coconut oil is the best suited for all hair types.
Everyone knows that the surge of hormones might give you awesome hair when you are pregnant. After you have had your baby, your hormones are going to drop a lot and so will your hair. So to match hair fall with hair growth, use the oil and massage your head. This will increase blood flow and opens up the hair pores and the oil will keep scalp from drying.
Again, use any brand which gives 100% pure extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil(or any other oil that works best for your hair).

Tip #5: Butter it up, real nice!
There won’t be enough time to have a body massage and give your skin that supple elasticity boost, always. So what I recommend is a body butter! A body lotion will NOT do the job. I am telling you – invest in one and thank me later!
My new personal favorite is Super Supreme Body Butter from Sephora. This has one of the best smells and guess what? No scents needed … mm Yum! You will stay moisturized for at least 12 hrs! This is a little pricey I know, but one tub goes a long way
